Abidjan: Célébration de fin d’année académique au CELAF

Du mercredi 11 au vendredi 13 mai, les étudiants du CELAF Institut d’Abidjan a célébré à la fois la fin d’année académique 2015-2016 et la fête du Saint Fondateur, Jean Baptiste de la Salle, patron de tous les Educateurs. Plusieurs activités ont occupé ces journées de célébrations : les matchs de football et de basketball, les prestations théâtrales et de chants, l’assemblée générale, le jeu « questions pour un champion », et enfin la messe de clôture suivie du partage fraternel. » Read more

Abidjan: End of Academic year at CELAF Institute.

From Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 May, Students of the CELAF Institute in Abidjan celebrated the end of the academic year 2015-2016 and the Feast of the Holy Founder, Saint John Baptist de la Salle, and Patron of all Educators. Several activities have occupied these days of celebration: football and basketball games, play and songs, the Students’ General Assembly, “Questions for a champion” and the closing Mass followed by a fraternal sharing. » Read more

Johannesburg: Africa Day at De La Salle Holy Cross College

Africa Day commemorates the founding of the Organization of African Unity (now known as the African Union) on this day, 25 May, in 1963. It aims to celebrate African unity. Each year the Day has a different theme. Today May 26, De La Salle Holy Cross College in Johannesburg – South Africa celebrated Africa Day at school and importantly in assembly… Students were encouraged to wear traditional attire(See photo). Number of them spoke in assembly about the Africa Union and introduced themselves in their vernacular, a traditional African heritage to which they belong. » Read more

Johannesbourg: Journée de l’Afrique au Collège De La Salle Holy Cross

La Journée de l’Afrique commémore la création de l’Organisation de l’Unité Africaine (Aujoud’hui connu sous la dénomination Union Africaine) ce jour-là, le 25 mai, en 1963. Il vise à célébrer l’unité africaine. Ce jeudi 26 mai, De La Salle Holy Cross College à Johannesburg – Afrique du Sud a célébré la Journée africaine à l’école et, surtout, au rassemblement … Les élèves ont été encouragés à porter une tenue traditionnelle (voir photo). Nombre d’entre eux a parlé de l’Union africaine lors du rassemblement et se sont présentés dans leur vernaculaire, un héritage  traditionnel auquel ils appartiennent.
