Antananarivo: Fin de la visite pastorale du Supérieur général au District d’Antananarivo

Jeudi 17 novembre 2016 : Antananarivo (dernier jour)

Le Supérieur général, accompagné du Conseiller général et du Visiteur, s’est rendu chez Monseigneur Odon Marie Arsène Razanakolona (ce nom malgache signifie « fils de l’homme ») pour lui dire merci pour son soutien aux Frères et en même temps au-revoir. La visite suivante fut réservée au lycée saint Joseph d’Andohalo, première des écoles des Frères où le bienheureux Louis Rafiringa a vécu et travaillé. Trois Frères constituent la communauté. Il compte aujourd’hui seulement 170 élèves… Les effectifs sont en baisse. Selon Fr Eric, directeur de l’école, lors du rassemblement des élèves et des professeurs, une volonté existe chez l’équipe éducatrice et les parents d’élèves, eux-mêmes anciens élèves, de faire remonter les effectifs. » Read more

The general Superior, accompanied by the general Councillor and the Visitor visited Archbishop Odon Marie Arsène Razanakolona (this Malagasy name means “son of man”) to thank him for his support to the Brothers and to say goodbye. The next visit was paid to Lycée Saint Joseph of Andohalo, one of the Brothers’ first schools in which Blessed Louis Rafiringa lived and worked. Three Brothers are found in the Community. Today, it only has 170 students… The number of students is dropping off. According to Br Eric, the school Principal, during the school assembly, there is willingness among the educator team and the students’ parents – former students, to work toward a rise in the number of students. » Read more
