Madagascar: 150 ans de présence lasallienne

Le 24 novembre 2015, la Famille Lasallienne s’est retrouvée à Soavimbahoaka – Antananarivo, pour marquer l’anniversaire de l’arrivée des premiers Frères des Ecoles Chrétiennes à Madagascar. Une messe solennelle a été célébrée en cette occasion par le Vicaire Episcopal de l’Archidiocèse d’Antananarivo. Elèves, professeurs, éducateurs, anciens élèves des écoles lasalliennes  ainsi que diverses entités lasalliennes ont honoré l’évènement. Bobo Dioulasso: Habit taking

The new group of novices for the year 2015 – 2017 has chosen Saint Francis of Assisi as their Patron. Their entering to the Novitiate was marked by a retreat held at the Monastery of Christ the Redeemer in Kiri (7 km de Bobo); It was animated by Brother Sylvain CONSIMBO. The orientation being “The novitiate, an evangelical adventure” invites the Novices of this group to resolutely walk with the Lord, after responding to his call: “Follow me” (cf. Mt 9: 9-13). They want to make theirs and live these words:  “We have left everything and followed you” (cf. Lk 18: 28). » Read more

Noviciat Bobo Dioulasso: Prise d’habit

La nouvelle promotion des novices 2015-2017 a pour patron Saint François d’Assise.  Sa retraite  d’entrée au noviciat a eu lieu au Monastère du Christ Rédempteur à KIRI (7 kms de Bobo); elle a été animée par  Frère  Sylvain CONSIMBO. L’orientation « Le noviciat, une aventure évangélique !» invite les Novices de ladite promotion à prendre résolument la route avec le Seigneur, après avoir  répondu à son appel : « Suis-moi » (cf.  Mt 9, 9-13). Ils veulent faire leurs et vivre ces paroles : « Nous avons tout quitté pour te suivre » (cf. Lc 18, 28). » Read more

Rwanda: Final Profession

Saturday 17th October was a joyful day for the De Salle Brothers in the Delegation of Rwanda. In the well-attended ceremony in Byumba Cathedral Parish, Brother Pascal HITIYAREMYE and Sebastien NIZEYIMANA made their final profession of vows in the Institute of the Brothers of the Christians Schools.
