From Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 May, Students of the CELAF Institute in Abidjan celebrated the end of the academic year 2015-2016 and the Feast of the Holy Founder, Saint John Baptist de la Salle, and Patron of all Educators. Africa Day commemorates the founding of the Organization of African Unity (now known as the African Union) on this day, 25 May, in 1963. It aims to celebrate African unity. Each year the Day has a different theme. Abidjan: Founder’s Day Celebration at Akwaba Center

On Monday 16th May, the Brothers’ Community of Akwaba Center in Abidjan invited the Brothers’ families and the Brothers of the three other communities. This was an invitation for the Founder’s Day celebration, which this year coincided with the Feast of Pentecost.
