Arrivé à Kigali le mercredi 19 octobre 2016, le Supérieur général, Fr Robert Schieler, a véritablement commencé la visite pastorale de la Région Lasallienne d’Afrique (RELAF) le lendemain jeudi, par la visite du Centre Intiganda de Butaré. Ce Centre, dont le nom signifie « courage », a été initié en 1988 par Fr Othmar et constitue aujourd’hui une des œuvres les plus significatives de la Délégation du Rwanda. Il eut d’abord pour vocation d’accueillir un nombre réduit d’enfants en difficulté car le suivi de ceux-ci devait se faire prioritairement dans les familles. » Read more

Arrived in Kigali on Wednesday, 19 October 2016, the general Superior, Br Robert Schieler, has really started the pastoral visit of the Lasallian Region of Africa (RELAF) the next day Thursday with the visit of Intiganda Centre in Butare. This centre, meaning “courage”, was founded in 1988 by Br Othmar and today constitutes one of the most significant educational works in the delegation of Rwanda. It was first intended to accommodate a limited number of children in difficulty because their follow-up should be done primarily in the families. » Read more
