Brother Superior General Armin Luistro, has just appointed Brother TOEPPEN Yawo Rodrigue Romain, Visitor of the Lasallian District of West Africa (DILAO). Let us note at this point that DILAO was born from the merging of the District of the Gulf of Benin and the District of West Africa. Brother Rodrigue Romain is the first Brother Visitor of the DILAO.
Brother Visitor Rodrigue TOEPPEN, a native of Togo, has been perpetually professed since 2 September 2006 in the Congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. He has served as Director of works and communities in Benin and Togo. He was also Director General of the African Lasallian Centre (CELAF-Institute) in Ivory Coast. He was a capitulant at the 46th General Chapter of the Institute. Since the year 2020 until today, Brother Yawo is Director of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Dapaong in Togo.
Brother Armin LUISTRO, Superior General has appointed Brother Emmanuel MBOUA as Visitor Pro Tempore of the District of Central Africa for three years, until 1 July 2025, the official expiry date of the mandate of Brother DIRETENADJI Anatole, recently elected General Councillor.
We congratulate Brother Emmanuel and wish him all the best in his new responsibilities.
The Brothers of the Christian Schools of the Delegation of Rwanda, has the deep sorrow to announce the sudden death of our Brother Balthazar NSENGIYUMVA who was Director of the School of Arts in Nyundo. His death occurred this morning 12 August 2022 in Kigali.
Brother Balthazar was born on 6/08/1957. He made his first vows in the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools on 14/06/1987, then perpetual vows on 25/07/1995. He was a teacher of Psychopedagogy at the Groupe Scolaire De La Salle Byumba, and of French in the different schools of the Brothers. He was also President of the Delegation of the Brothers in Rwanda, then Director of the Groupe Scolaire De La Salle Byumba from 2002 to 2011. Since 2019, he was the Director of the Nyundo School of Arts.
May the Creator welcome his son and our Brother in his eternal Peace! The programme of the funeral will be communicated later.

Brother Julien DIARRA, Visitor of the District of West Africa, is deeply saddened to announce the death of Brother Gabriel Danini ZABRAMBA. Our dear Brother was called back to God this Thursday 4 August 2022 in Bobo Dioulasso, at the age of 74, with 58 years of religious life.
May the soul of Brother Gabriel Danini ZABRAMBA rest in peace through the mercy of God!

6.30 am: Removal of the body from the morgue of the Souro SANOU hospital to the Sainte Famille de Tounouma parish church.
8.30 am: Requiem mass in the parish church of Sainte Famille in Tounouma followed by the burial in Toussiana

The Brother President of the Delegation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Rwanda, in union with all the Brothers of the Delegation of Rwanda, united with the whole Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, have the deep sorrow of announcing to you the return to the Father of the dear Brother Aloys NDIMUKIHE, this Tuesday 19 July 2022 at 9.40 am after having suffered a long illness.
Brother Aloys NDIMUKIHE was born on 28 June 1942 and made his first vows in the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools on 8/09/1967 and perpetual vows on 30/10/1974. He has been in different communities of the Brothers in Rwanda, Congo (DRC), Burkina Faso, and elsewhere, at the service of the Educational Mission in the Institute. He was an educator and a leader of great qualities, as President of the Delegation of Rwanda, teacher and director of schools, director of the Brothers’ Communities…
The funeral will take place this Friday 22 July 2022 in Byumba. May the Lord whom he served with joy and devotion welcome him into his rejoicing place prepared for faithful servants.

Appointed for a first mandate of three years on 30 April 2019, Brother Superior General has renewed the mandate of Brother Nsukula Fie BAVINGIDI as Visitor of the District of Congo Kinshasa. This new mandate runs from 30 April 2022 to 29 April 2025. Our congratulations and encouragement to Brother Pie, the first person responsible for the animation of the District of Congo Kinshasa. This centenary District is made up of 59 Brothers, supported by more than 1070 teachers and lay personnel, animating 44 works, at the service of nearly 27,000 pupils and students in Congo Kinshasa
On 12 June 2021 at the Novitiate of Notre Dame de Grâces in Bobo-Dioulasso, 19 young people from RELAF said YES to the Lord, through the taking of first vows. Beyond RELAF, it is the whole Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, if not the whole Lasallian world, which is celebrating, in thanksgiving to God for these young Brothers whom he has called to serve him. Welcome to you, dear Brothers, and may God continue to strengthen your steps in the footsteps of his Son, for his greater glory and the salvation of humanity.
